DPS Foundations of Early Literacy app for iPhone and iPad

Denver Public Schools has recently launched the Early Literacy 2020 plan, which will help us achieve our goal that 80% of all third graders will be proficient in reading and writing by the end of third grade by the year 2020. To support the Literacy 2020 plan, educators across the district will come together over several days of professional learning.

This professional learning is inclusive of all of our ECE-3 educators, including school leadership, teachers, paraprofessionals, interventionists and more. It will allow our educators to learn and share best practices across grade levels, schools and the entire district and includes differentiated sessions based on areas of expertise for added value for participants.

With the support of all our educators, we can create a world where students need less remediation, read on grade level, are engaged in the reading process and have the skills to pursue their dreams
